I’M A GYPROCKER AWARDS 2024 – TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Information on how to enter the I’m A Gyprock Awards 2024 (“Promotion“), the conditions of entry, and prizes, form part of these terms and conditions (“Terms”). Entry into the Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms.

PROMOTER

  1. The promoter is CSR Building Products Limited trading as CSR Gyprock (ABN 55 008 631 356) of Triniti 3, 39 Delhi Road, North Ryde NSW 2113 (“Promoter” or “CSR”).

PROMOTIONAL PERIOD

  1. The Promotion commences at 9:00am AEST on 1 May 2024 and ends at 5:00pm AEST on 30 June 2024 (“Promotional Period”).

ELIGIBILITY

  1. Participation in the Promotion is limited to sole traders (must be Australian residents aged 18 years or older) and corporate entities who are customers of, or have purchased Gyprock plaster products from, the Promoter or any authorised reseller of Gyprock plaster products (“Eligible Customers”), and who fulfill the entry criteria set out below at clause 4. Prohibited from participating are:
    • resellers and distributors of the Promoter; and
    • the directors, management and employees (and their immediate families, including spouses, ex-spouses, de-facto spouse, children [including step children and adopted children], parents, step-parents, grandparents, step-grandparents, siblings, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, first cousins) of the Promoter and its related bodies corporate, and any printers, suppliers, vendors, or agencies associated with the conduct of this Promotion.

HOW TO ENTER

  1. To enter the Promotion and be considered an “Entrant”, Eligible Customers must:
    • register an account with the Promoter at gyprock.com.au/imagyprocker;
    • complete the entry form at gyprock.com.au/imagyprocker;
    • designate the correct award category(ies) being entered into (refer to clauses 6a-l below); and
    • upload a clear photograph of the application or project being entered into the Promotion, with each instance of the above conditions being satisfied being an “Entry”.
  1. Multiple Entries by the same Entrant in the Promotion are permitted:
    • a single Entry can designate multiple award categories (refer to clauses 6a-l below); and
    • multiple Entries can be submitted provided they are each in relation to different applications or projects.

ENTRY CONDITIONS

  1. There are twelve (12) award categories the subject of this Promotion (“Award Categories”):
    • Commercial Gyprocker of the Year – for Gyprock plaster applications in commercial or industrial projects;
    • Residential Gyprocker of the Year – for Gyprock plaster applications in residential projects;
    • Feature Element Gyprocker of the Year – for Gyprock plaster applications in any project which has a special or distinctive design, element or feature, such as a coffered ceiling, spiral staircase, curved wall;
    • Ornamental (or Decorative) Plaster Gyprocker of the Year – any form of ornamental/decorative Gyprock plaster application, including ornamental/decorative cornice or ceiling roses;
    • Female Gyprocker of the Year – for Gyprock plaster applications performed by female tradespersons;
    • WA Gyprocker of the Year – for Gyprock plaster applications performed by tradespersons residing in, or businesses operating in, the state of Western Australia;
    • SA/NT Gyprocker of the Year – for Gyprock plaster applications performed by tradespersons residing in, or businesses operating in, the states of South Australia and/or the Northern Territory;
    • TAS Gyprocker of the Year – for Gyprock plaster applications performed by tradespersons residing in, or businesses operating in, the state of Tasmania;
    • VIC Gyprocker of the Year – for Gyprock plaster applications performed by tradespersons residing in, or businesses operating in, the state of Victoria;
    • NSW/ACT Gyprocker of the Year – for Gyprock plaster applications performed by tradespersons residing in, or businesses operating in, the states of New South Wales and/or the Australian Capital Territory;
    • QLD Gyprocker of the Year – for Gyprock plaster applications performed by tradespersons residing in, or businesses operating in, the state of Queensland; and
    • People’s Choice Gyprocker of the Year – for the best Gyprock plaster application as determined by popular vote via the Promoter’s @csrgyprock Instagram account.
  1. All Gyprock plaster applications and projects the subject of any Entry in this Promotion must have been undertaken or completed no earlier than twelve (12) months prior to the Entrant’s date of submitting the relevant Entry and must not have been previously entered into earlier promotions of this kind or similar to it. Entrants may be asked to provide proof of the performance or completion date of the relevant project, at the Promoter’s sole discretion. The Promoter may disqualify any Entry which it believes to be in breach of this clause.
  2. All Promoter’s decisions are final. No correspondence will be entered into.
  3. Incomplete, erroneous, ineligible or incomprehensible Entries, or Entries which do not meet the requirements of these Terms, will be deemed invalid. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost, delayed, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, corrupted, illegible or misdirected Entries.
  4. Only Gyprock plaster products may be used and featured in the photograph(s) forming part of the Entry in the Promotion. Any Entry featuring third party plaster products will be deemed invalid.

MAJOR PRIZES

  1. There are a total of twelve (12) major prizes to be won, one for each Award Category (“Major Prizes”) each with a value of AUD$5,328.00. The total prize pool of the twelve (12) Major Prizes is $63,936.00.
  2. Each Major Prize comprises the following:
  • AUD$4,000.00 Prezzee smart eGift Card;
  • Supplier prizes:
    • HB Fuller Prize Pack valued at a total of $243.00
      • 1 x sealant 7 pc tool kit
      • 1 x Tough red Caulking gun

  1. Redemption and use of the gift card referred to at clause 12a above will be subject to the retailer’s terms and conditions which can be found on the retailer’s website at https://www.prezzee.com.au/.
  2. Multiple Major Prizes may be won by any one Entrant across multiple Award Categories, as applicable.

ENTRY PRIZES

  1. In addition to the Major Prizes, each Entrant whose Entry complies with these Terms shall receive a premium Gyprock branded duffel bag valued at AUD$75.00 (“Entry Prize”), the estimated total of all Entry Prizes valued at up to AUD$31,500.00.
  2. Regardless of the total number of Entries made, no more than one (1) Entry Prize can be won per Entrant.

PRIZE DRAW

  1. Entries across all Award Categories will be judged and one (1) winner from each of the relevant Award Categories will be selected by a panel of judges nominated by the Promoter (see clause 19 below in respect of the People’s Choice Gyprocker of the Year). The judging will take place between 1 July 2024 and 15 July 2024 at the Promoter’s head office located at Triniti 3, 39 Delhi Road, North Ryde NSW 2113.
  2. The judging panel will determine the winner of each Award Category (excluding the People’s Choice Award Gyprocker of the Year – see clause 19 below) based on their subjective opinion of the ‘best’ Entry in that Award Category. Any Entry which the judging panel believes does not adhere to or demonstrate good work health and safety practices will be disqualified.
  3. In respect of the People’s Choice Gyprocker of the Year Award Category:
    • in lieu of selecting a winner, the judging panel will determine a shortlist of four (4) Entries (“Shortlisted Entry”); and
    • at 9:00am AEST on 11 July 2024, the Promoter shall publish the photographs of the Shortlisted Entries on its @csrgyprock Instagram account for Instagram users to vote for their favourite by way of ‘liking’ one of the posts featuring a Shortlisted Entry, and the Shortlisted Entry the subject of the post with the most ‘likes’ received by 5:00pm AEST on 14 July 2024 will be the winner of the People’s Choice Gyprocker of the Year Award Category.
  1. Entry Prizes will be won automatically upon an Entrant making a valid Entry into the Promotion.

NOTIFICATION AND COLLECTION

  1. All Major Prize winners for each of the Award Categories shall be published on the Promoter’s website (gyprock.com.au/imagyprocker) and on the Promoter’s social media pages on the following dates:
    • the People’s Choice Gyprocker of the Year will be announced on 15 July 2024; and
    • thereafter, on each week day from and including 16 July 2024 to 30 July 2024, the Promoter will announce one Award Category winner per day (in no particular order).
  1. On the day the Major Prize winners are publicly announced pursuant to clause 21 above or shortly thereafter, the Promoter will notify the winners of the Major Prizes via the contact details provided at the time of Entry.
  2. All Major Prizes and Entry Prizes will be dispatched to the winners by way of post to the addresses nominated by the Entrants at the time of Entry.
  3. Prizes, or any part thereof, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. If a prize is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter may substitute the prize with another item of equal or higher value. The Promoter accepts no liability for variation in prize value (including between the time of advertising the Promotion and receipt of the prize).
  4. Any prizes which are unclaimed (including undelivered) shall be deemed forfeited. The Promoter accepts no responsible for unclaimed or undelivered prizes where the winners failed to provide correct or complete contact details at the time of Entry or subsequently failed to notify the Promoter of any change of address, or in respect of any prizes that are stolen, lost, damaged, forged or tampered with.

GENERAL

  1. To enter the Promotion, Entrants may be required to submit, communicate, upload or make available any text, chats, images, audio, video, or other content (“User Generated Content”) which may be accessible and viewable by the public. Entrants must not submit or upload any User Generated Content that is defamatory, harassing, threatening, hateful, vulgar, obscene, pornographic, or otherwise could be reasonably expected to harm any person or entity, whether or not such material is protected by law.
  2. All Entries become the Promoter’s property, and as a condition of entry, Entrants agree to assign all rights in their Entry and any related content to the Promoter, including any copyright or other intellectual property rights in the Entry and the related content. The Promoter may, without limitation, use the Entry and its related content for any purpose, and each Entrant warrants that the Entry and its related content is original, lawful, not misleading, and that the use of such by the Promoter will not infringe the rights of any third party. All Entrants agree to indemnify the Promoter, its related bodies corporate, and their employees and agents against any losses, costs, damages, expenses, liabilities, claims, actions, suits or proceedings brought by a third party in connection with a breach of the warranty set out in this clause 27.
  3. By participating in the Promotion, the Entrants grant the Promoter a royalty-free, non-exclusive, irrevocable, worldwide licence to use and publish the images/photos/videos the subject of the Entry and any other User Generated Content on Gyprock’s social and digital media pages and platforms.
  4. The Promoter reserves the right to request the Entrant produce (within the requested time) appropriate photo identification or other documentation (to the Promoter’s satisfaction, at its sole discretion) to confirm the Entrant’s identity, age, residential address, eligibility to enter and claim a prize, and any information submitted by the Entrant in entering the Promotion, before issuing a prize. If any documentation required by the Promoter is not received by the Promoter (or its nominated agent) or an Entrant or Entry has not been verified or validated to the Promoter’s (or its nominated agent’s) satisfaction, then all the Entries of that Entrant may be ineligible and deemed invalid.
  5. The Promoter and its related bodies corporate exclude all liability (including negligence) howsoever arising in connection with or related to this Promotion or any prizes, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law (including any applicable consumer guarantee under Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)).
  6. The Promoter reserves its rights to disqualify any Entry, in its sole discretion, including (without limitation) where it believes an Entrant has submitted a misleading Entry, an Entry not compliant with or in breach of these Terms, where an Entrant has tampered with or manipulated the Entry process and so forth. Further, the Promoter reserves its rights to cancel this Promotion at any time without liability.
  7. If a winner breaches these Terms, the winner will be deemed to have forfeited their prize(s) in whole and no substitutes will be offered. Verification is at the discretion of the Promoter whose decision is final. Any failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
  8. The laws of New South Wales govern this Promotion and the Entrants accept the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts and tribunals of New South Wales.
  9. Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter or Snapchat may be used to advertise or promote the Promotion. By entering the Promotion, Entrants agree that the Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter or Snapchat and to release Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter or Snapchat from all liability in relation to this Promotion. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the Promotion should be directed to the Promoter and not to Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter or Snapchat.

PRIVACY

  1. The Promoter collects personal information (“PI“) in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities.
  2. If the PI requested is not provided, the Entrant cannot participate in the Promotion and is deemed ineligible.
  3. All PI will be collected, stored, handled and disclosed by the Promoter in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, a copy of which may be obtained at https://www.csr.com.au/privacy-policy/. Entrants can gain access to, update or correct any of their Personal Information held by the Promoter by contacting the Promoter’s Privacy Officer at info@csr.com.au.
